Are you ready for the next biggest football event? Indeed, there is no bigger event than the NFL championships – the Super Bowl. The 44th Super Bowl series will be held at the Landshark Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Since 1997, the Landshark Stadium has hosted several football events and that includes two World Series and four Super Bowls. This will be the fifth time that Landshark Stadium will host the Super Bowl and the ninth for the entire Miami area. ;

Super Bowl XLIV will officially start on February 7, 2010. The show will also be aired live via CBS. And because of the event’s popularity, it has always been considered almost as a national holiday in the US. Fans fondly call the event the Super Bowl Sunday. It is also the day when most families are out enjoying the food and the activities in and around the area. The NFL championship is almost as popular as Thanksgiving Day.

More than the championship itself, the half time shows during the Super Bowl games are highly anticipated as well. Many big stars have graced the game through their intermissions numbers during half-time. Among them are Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Prince, The Rolling Stones, Paula Abdul, Madonna, and Tom Petty. For 2010, there are negotiations that Bon Jovi will do the half-time show. However, Bruce Springsteen and his band had initially aired their willingness to do the half-time show so it is most likely that they will end up as the next Super Bowl half-time performers.

Being one of the biggest events in 2010, Super Bowl XLIV will definitely make Florida a very busy state with all the tourists and the fans traveling to the place just to watch their favorite game live. As the designated hosts, the Tampa Bay area has signaled an ‘all systems go’ alert for the event. Even the highways and the transportations are ready to take both the locals and the tourists to the stadium. The hotels and inns are all geared up for the event as well. The restaurants have their menu all straightened out as early as now to feed the multitudes of hungry fans who are ready to join in the fun.

The Landshark Stadium has a seating capacity of more than 65,000 and it can hold as much as 75,000 people if needed. The stadium has the best amenities too, with the 195 luxury suites being the best seats in the house. Watch your favorite game in a private room complete with restroom, bar, television screens, retractable windows, and air conditioning systems.

If you intend to watch the NFL 2010 championships live, you better secure your tickets and parking this early. With the number of people all ready to enjoy the big event along with their families, it could be hard to get last chance tickets along the way.
